What is ISO 45001?

ISO 45001:2018 is an international standard for a health and safety management system
at work (OH&S). It replaced OHSAS 18001. By implementing the standard, you can protect the health, safety and well-being of your employees, visitors and anyone affected by your organization's activities. It is also a great way to establish legal compliance. 

Setting up an occupational health and safety management system is more important than ever. Senior managers are now personally responsible for health and safety in their organisations. In addition, new sentencing guidelines introduced in 2016 resulted in harsher punishment for omissions. The standard provides protection for you, your employees and your organization. The standard is based on Annex SL, which means that it has a common structure and many elements with other main standards. Check if your ISO 45001 certificate is accredited.
